About

CC & The Catastrophe is an eleven-piece pop big-band that is all about having a good time and making good music. Formed in 2016 by Caroline Carlson, the group is based out of Boston, Massachusetts and is home to both current and past students of the Berklee College of Music. In addition to singing lead vocals, Caroline is the primary songwriter for the group.

When coming together to form such a large group, each member needed to have a similar goal; make fun music, and make it good. The group strives to create tunes that could be popular and relatable, but with "old-school," traditional instrumentation.

In addition to their tight core band and fierce vocalists, CC & The Catastrophe's trademark sound lies in their funky bass lines and killer horn section. Their unique pop big-band sound is influenced by icons such as Tory Lanez, Bruno Mars, and Gallant. Their songs groove with up-beat tempos and a strong dance feel. Combining catchy top lines and louder-than-life instrumentation, their live performances are events you shouldn't miss.
